Air Products’ UK and Ireland food division has expanded to welcome two new specialists to bolster the team: Jahnavi Sheth as Food Cryogenic Technology Specialist, and Becky Raisewell-Bunn as Food Application Specialist.

Jahnavi and Becky both join with backgrounds in manufacturing and industrial applications, ready to extend their knowledge within the business. Scroll below to meet our new members of the team -

Using her background in industrial use of gases and high pressure equipment (used for heating, cooling and transporting fluids or gases), Jahnavi will be assisting in the implementation of food and cryogenic applications for customers with a focus on freezing.

With a decade of experience working for Air Products under her belt, Jahnavi is now branching out into the food manufacturing side of the business and will broaden her discipline as Food Cryogenic Technology Specialist.

Jahnavi will be supporting existing and prospective customers in understanding the benefits of cryogenic freezing compared to traditional mechanical freezing.  

This includes putting Air Products Freshline ® SMART Technology in place with customers to promote a better understanding of liquid nitrogen usage, greater efficiency and sustainability – as well as reduced food waste.

Becky has been working in the food manufacturing industry for three years. As a market specialist working with mixed gases, she has most recently been exploring the carbonation of drinks.

This new position will see Becky focus on supporting customers with one of the biggest issues facing the industry at the moment – reducing costs and managing energy consumption.

Becky will be assisting customers across Europe with Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP), gas mixing (involving carbon dioxide, nitrogen and oxygen), shelf life improvement and gas consumption enquiries. Alongside this, Becky will continue to explore the viability of using alternative materials to plastic when using MAP across food product ranges.
